Welcome to official web home of the Chew Valley Santa Scramble; an exciting new event coming to you this December 3rd 2017.

The inaugural Chew Valley Santa Scramble and mini Santa Scramble is simply a run, walk, jog, sprint or toddle around a marshalled route dressed like Santa, and brought to you by the Elves that organise the stupendously successful Chew Valley 10k.

The morning of festive family activity comprises two fun runs. The Santa Scramble, commencing at 11am, is a 5k(ish) route across fields and lanes starting and finishing at Chew Valley School and open to all ages 11 years and over on the 1st September 2017. We supply the course, the marshals, the obligatory Christmassy medal and the Santa suit in the price of your entry.

The younger members of the family get their slice of the action with the 1k mini Santa Scramble. Starting at 10am it’s just a shorter version of the 5K and all contained within the school grounds. Parents/carers are welcome to join in the fun and accompany their child but, in the spirit of Christmas festive dress is obligatory!

We all love to run, and we all love Santa …see you on December 3rd.

To add to that warm, fuzzy glow that running dressed like Santa will provide, you’ll also have the knowledge that all money raised by the event supports Chew Valley School and the local charity Mend the Gap; whose mission is to help individuals and communities mend the widening gap between cultures, races, generations and people of different wealth for current and future generations. Chew Valley School are linked to a school in Kenya via this charity.
